We walked from our hotel to shopping, and were too lazy to walk back. It was great to catch the free trolley back to our hotel!

Used Trolley to visit other restaurants at the resorts and was easy to use! Nice experience.
Driver was very friendly and only about 5 mins off of the posted pick up times.

Good local service, clean vehicles, pleasant driver.

This was very handy as we did not rent a car during our stay. This trolley can take to you the major hotels along the beach as well as the golf course and Fairway Shops and Whalers Village. Free and you can tip the driver.

Hop on the trolley, hop off the trolley. It just that easy and it is free. Nice easy way to get around if you don't feel like driving

What a pathetic excuse as an ambassador for Kaanapali Beach tourism. The driver was not only inconsiderate but outright rude. When confronted about his decision to not drive into the designated pick up zone at the Whaler Village he told us that he saw us sitting and waiting but chose not to enter the zone, obviously because it was busy, and that we should have been down at the street curb and wave our hands to flag him down. Pardon me, I guess I missed those instructions when I read the Trolley schedule. Maybe Mr. Trolley owner should be selling bright flags to us unknowing tourists so we can use them to flag down his free Trolley. Get a grip Maui. Maybe you should vet your drivers a little more closely. 11:53 am on 2/4/2020 at the Whaler Village.

If you're traveling between the Ka'anapali resorts and Whalers Village, this is the way to go! Runs every half hour, no cost, no parking fees. Leave the rental car at the resort and arrive safe.

We waited at the stop and the trolley was on time. It was also very clean and the driver was extremely friendly.

Does this trolley stop close to the Hyatt Regency? We were wondering if anyone has taken this trolley to and from the Ka'anapali Golf Courses?

Yes. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency. The trolley stop is right next to the golf course and is shared with the resort next door. The Hyatt staff were very helpful at showing us exactly where the stop is.

I am going to stay at the El Dorado Kaanapali Beach at the end of March. I rented a condo, so i'll self-care. I know Safeway is in Lahaina about 3 miles south of the El Dorado. I also understand I can take a free shuttle trolley down. Where abouts by the Fairway shops close to the El Dorado is the bus stop? It takes an hour if I read correctly.
2nd. question: How difficult is it to get a taxi back to the hotel with all the grocery shopping I will do (safeway to El Dorado) and do you have a tel number I could call to pick me up. thanks in advance for your help.

We're staying at Honua Kai resort. Does the trolley go out that far?
Thanks!

No, but the The Bus stops very close to the Honua Kai, next door and it can bring you to Whaler's Village in Ka'anapali. The Kaananapali Trolley also connects at Whaler's Village, its free. The bus is $2 per ride or $4 for all day pass.
