Beautiful beach. Great for kids too. Really nice with the multiple food and drink vendors. Made it convenient so we didn’t have to lug food with us. We brought floaties with us so we enjoyed using them. It gets really packed but there are multiple parking lots. Whatever you do, DO NOT park on the bridge. There are no signs and if you park after the wooden observation deck that is considered the bridge. They love to give out parking tickets here at $100 a pop. To pay parking tickets you can go to any Banco Popular (once the ticket is in the system - give it 2 days). Otherwise you have to go to Aguadilla municipal city hall and can pay on the 4th floor. Trust me. This is valuable information here and it took a while to find this out. Still worth the visit. If you want a quieter beach go to Pena Blanca.

Crashboat has always been one of my favorite beaches in Puerto Rico. The water is calm & clear. Plenty of space to lay out in the sand. There are various options for food (fritters, shish kabobs, piña colada, smoothies, etc). You can also enjoy banana boat rides (for a fee).
Note: It gets very busy on weekends and during June/July so arriving early is recommended in order to find parking.

Most Beautiful beach I think I’ve ever been to. The water was clean, warm, aqua blue, and there were plenty of food and drink spots on the beach. Also DJ and of course everyone else’s music playing. Just made this place even better. However, I did get a parking ticket because I parked on a “yellow line” I’m not from there and didn’t see the no parking sign anywhere, guess I didn’t try hard enough cause it was there. But when I parked, there were 6 other cars parked there and I even asked someone if this was ok parking and they said yes of course. They got tickets too lol but I noticed on the opposite side of the street there was no yellow on the sidewalk meaning they could park there. My ticket was $50 so just make sure you park in the right area. Hard to find parking when it’s busy. I got there on Thursday at 3pm.

The parking situation is strange. There is an easily missed entrance to the pay parking. If you miss it, you continue on to “free” parking. I say “free” but it really isn’t as there are a ton of locals sweeping sand off the asphalt that will help you park for a tip. There are zero “unmonitored” spots. This side is near the food vendors.
For snorkeling, the “pay parking side” (left of the docks if facing the ocean) seemed to have the best snorkeling. The most active areas were right at the corner of the last dock and a bit past it where the “boat” is (at least that’s what I think we saw….looked to be some sunken concrete slabs but a bunch of scuba divers where putting their flags there).
The food is…meh. Empanadas were literally from the frozen food aisle. Chicken on a stick was undercooked and fatty. The freshly cored pineapple with pina colada should have been delicious but used cheap alcohol and tasted not great.

Wish I hadn’t bothered going to this beach. Long drive, not easy to get too and Aguadilla cops everywhere waiting to pull you over. Get to beach and personally I was very disappointed. Looked gross with graffiti old piers and the “crashed boats” barely visible. My recommendation is don’t bother with this beach. Not impressed.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our visits to Crashboat Beach over our Spring Break trip to PR. We felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed the soft sand and turquoise waters. The little food/beverage kiosks were convenient and very tasty. We had bbq chicken on a stick and wonderful frozen drinks. We did find that the showers did not work so that was slightly disappointing as we returned to our vehicles. This is a beach frequented by locals so you know it's a good one. Stay for the sunsets, you won't be disappointed!

My 6 year-old son got stung by a box jellyfish here. No mention of these on signs posted anywhere. I have been to Australia where they are abundant and you are well informed of their presence before entering the water. Thank God I had Benadryl with me. Tons of people on the beach but no one was able to help me at all. My husband and I did some research after this harrowing experience and apparently they are now found in the Carribean waters during the winter months. We were even able to find pictures online of the jellies that were abundant in the water and they were indeed a species of box jellyfish. My son went in to anaphylactic shock and we were close to losing him. He pulled through on our way to the hospital but it was way too close. Head to Marina Beach in Rincon instead. Lots to do, water is perfect and the people are way nicer.

This beach is a family friendly great beach to go to. There were food vendors with different kinds of food on the weekend when we were there. Clear water and very little waves. Excellent place to swim or snorke.

Absolutely loved this beach! Its not too big, never too crowded. And the water is crystal clear. They have a restaurant near by and a few food kiosks. several vendors (not too many). I was in Puerto rico for 10 days and I visited this beach 4x! They also have chairs and umbrella rentals for reasonable prices. Parking is free & beach is free.

Hi Mike B - you mentioned Crash beach being too busy and other beaches just as beautiful and less crowded. Can you mention a few?
Thanks.

Hello,
I recommend Jabos Beach, Survivor Beach and monotones beach. Absolutely the most beautiful beaches I have seen this far. The beach are not crowded and more of local gem. While crash boat beach is more geared towards tourist. I hope this helps :)
Is there any jellyfish around the area in this season?
Yes just hit sting by one swimming off the pier today feb19,2920
