We have been going to White Bay for 8 years. This is our favorite place on earth, we love the scenery, we love the people and we will vacation here for as long as we can.

Spent 4 days ay white bay villa in mid february …. The staff was great and provided a ride up and down the hill to and from the beach since our villa was near the hilltop. The beach is quiet and perfect …. If you want some more action walk further down the beach toward the soggy dollar bar…. Beautiful views from our villa …. Hired a boat for the day to snorkel and island hop and finished off the day after all the day trippers ledt at the soggy dollar for drinks …. Hendo’s , tipsy shark were top dinner choices and foxy’s for evening entertainment and pain killers….. its not a resort like a Hyatt but a high rise mass resort would kill the beauty and charm of JVD …. Will be back again !!

I visited Tortola for a few days before heading to St Thomas. I was told I had to visit White Bay Beach. I was surprised at how close the boats were allowed to dock. It's great for a boating spot. Not impressed as a beach. Clearly not regulated. Check off the box.

A huge white sand beach with lots of room - stay in the crowd and party, people watch or hang out at the end of the beach. One day I had a mani/pedi at tranquility beauty spa by Gertude’s (they came to me down the beach) one day I stayed in the water with drinks and a few days I stayed on the shore watching the beach life!

I have visited many beaches in many different locations, but I have just crowned a new champion of the most beautiful beach ever! White Bay has a view that you don’t believe is true. We came over from Saint Thomas via ferry to Saint John then to the BVI. Not a big deal to change ferries in Saint John and was a little rough, but not bad at all. VERY IMPORTANT…if you are on the morning ferry and you sit on top of the ferry you will get wet and especially for whatever reason on the right side facing toward the front of the boat. The newlywed couple to our right were soaked, but very happy regardless. There is a $20 fee upon entry to the dock for immigration and yes you will receive a new stamp and you will pay a $10 exit fee. All worth it!!!

Since I can see this island and White Bay Beach from my balcony on St. Thomas, it was about time to check it out! We took the Inter-Island ferry for about $60 round trip plus a $20pp entry fee and a stamp in our passports. Having to stop in St. John both ways and switch boats was kind of a bummer (it took an hour on the way back) but we still had plenty of time for shopping, drinking (we brought our own cooler to supplement our Painkillers from The Soggy Dollar bar) and general beach enjoyment. I can't afford to go every weekend, but it was a stunning beach and I loved seeing my island off in the distance!

Very nice beach with good sand and water. Numerous restaurants and bars along the waterfront. There tend to be a lot of boats about either beached or anchored very close as well as some a little further out. You might unexpectedly find your nice spot on the sand with water access is no more.

We took a day trip via ferry to Jost Van Dyke and made the obligatory visit to White Bay and the Soggy Dollar. The beach is one of the nicer ones we visited but expect a lot of boat traffic. Our visit was in the afternoon so relatively tame but I suspect the area could be a bit "lively" at night.
