Although closed in the off season it is still worth a stop. From the parking lot you get a great view of Norris Landing. Good place for lunch with great views.

We stopped for the view and met J.O. Hotdog vendor. He recommended that we go into the house and visit. The hotdog vendor told us that the Jenniex house had been moved from three other sites. It is a small museum and features household items...More

House set up as it would have been years ago. Small admission charge. Nice view of the bay from the house.

The Jenniex House was not on our list of sites to see but we stumbled on it. Very interesting place and lots of history there (the house was moved three times). Sure wish the summer students working there took an interest in the visitors though.

The museum was closed when we stopped by, but that was fine. We stopped to see the spectacular view. You see the mountains, the valley and the water from this high elevation. Not to be missed. Make sure to take pictures.

Got some good photos from the terrace outside this house overlooking GMNP. The house itself was of interest - having original furnishings still in place.

Brilliantly restored older house with many old artifacts from early life in the area. No admission price, but they do request donations to help with upkeep and they have a small gift shop to purchase souvenirs as well. Really enjoyed the effort put in to...More
