We went midweek - which was a mistake - you need to go as early into your stay as possible. This is a small but historically packed museum which tells you so much about the history, the culture and the people of this beautiful island. Lots of interesting books and leaflets to help you get the most out of your visit. Absolutely brilliant and not to be missed.…

This is an excellent small museum but full of information on the history of this lovely island. There are some interesting books to buy. Admission is free. So much information to read but all really informative. We spent a good 2 hours here.

A fantastic museum about the island. Masses of well laid out information in a small place. It is just a shame that it is only open for a few hours three days a week. We were fortunate and were able to visit and can highly recommend it.

This small centre has been beautiful laid out, with large informative wall charts, with information about the island's hsitory. Items from the past are careful grouped together in thoughtful displays. Possible to do family search from there too.
