About
Horsham Park is a haven of green space with a lake, trees, wildlife and colourful flowerbeds. Within the Park is Park House Garden, a tranquil landscaped sensory garden designed with the disabled and visually impaired in mind. For those wishing to be more active, there are tennis courts, two outdoor gym locations, a permanent Orienteering Course, a very popular bowls green and a skate park. In 2011 a permanent table tennis table was added to the Park as well as a delightful Human Nature Garden, which offers an attractive educational garden illustrating the link between plants and people in their everyday lives. The Garden was created by Horsham in Bloom and funded by the Big Lottery. A wide range of refreshments are provided at The Conservatory Café; an ideal spot to stop for a break and to listen to concerts on the nearby podium.

Lovely park to walk around in the sunshine. Well worth a walk through if you’re in the area. Very close to the town centre as well.

Went out on a walk to the park with my dog and children and it felt very therapeutic walking through the park with a nice warm breeze towards you and is very well looked after.

Great place...still no toilets
Aug 2020 • Family
This is a lovely local park used by families and friends with plenty of room to social distance.. but why are there still no toilets available...all ages use this park and the lack of facilities is dire. It spoils a good day out... and the longer it stays like this the more people will use the bushes which isn’t great for anyone (we didn’t do this)

Come on HDC sort this out..

COULD DO WITH MORE FLOWERS
Dec 2019
Only maintained and not gardened. Plenty of green but no colour. More a recreation ground.
Could do with free parking in parking areas surrounding park for first half hour for people who would just like a short walk perhaps with children, walk their dog or quick drink or meal in café. If one wanted to do this on a daily basis it would cost a fortune in parking fees therefore park isn't visited.
Also because of cost of parking I am leaving the bowling club which is already down on members. ( All other clubs have free parking ). Is the park only for the wealthy?

Hi Roger, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback on Horsham Park! With regards to your point about the flowers we do have plans for more planting in the park. Additional sensory planting has been included in Park House garden, this will provide additional colour and scents. Primroses and Snowdrops have been planted in the grassed area which will provide on-going winter colour. With regards to parking I am afraid I cannot comment on the pricing. If you wish to discuss this with our parking team in more detail you can email them at parking@horsham.gov.uk. Once agin than you for leaving a review of Horsham Park, all feedback is greatly appreciated!

A lovely park in the centre of Horsham
Dec 2019
We go there often and usually with our dog. The park is well kept and very attractive. As with every other green area, the park is very muddy at this time of the year but this is hardly the fault of the park managers and maintenance staff. I have seen rats running around in there more than once which is a bit off putting but when people behave irresponsibly by throwing their rubbish all over the park paths and fields, its hardly surprising that rodents will appear there looking for food containers etc. There are rubbish disposal bins everywhere in the park. Plenty of car parking available at several locations and a bonus is the Conservatory Cafe in the middle of Horsham Park.

Pleasant park
Oct 2019
Decent sized park that is very pleasant to have a stroll around. Situated right by the town centre so easily accessible. It's where they hold the parkrun and junior parkruns in the town.

This park is really good for the children.
Aug 2019 • Family
This park has a really good play ground, with lots of things to go on, sand pit, swings, climbing frames and much more. . It is surrounded by a green area, where they can run around and kick a ball about. There is also a indoor pool with an outside area.. It's a good place to spend some fun time, only costing the price for parking.
