Came up for an early tea and both had the Pheasant Plucker Pie..... Amazing.. The meat was just melt in the mouth and the pastry was sturdy enough to dip in the gravy. Lovely staff and Atmosphere... My only gripe, would have loved some crusty...More

Called in for husband/wife date night while son went out with friends. We had a lovely friendly welcome. Quiet to start but as the night went on got quite busy, great atmosphere for a cosy night chatting. Very clean but some updating of upholstery required...More

Friday is fish and chippy night, two fish and chips for £14.95. Choice of mushy or garden peas. Just returned home from a great chippy tea. Staff great, food great, selection of ales great. Served on time, not rushed, freshly cooked. Recommend Friday tea time.

Stayed here for 1 night on a Groupon. Fantastic value for money and the 3 course meal was excellent. The bar area was cosy near the fire. The current owners have only been there 3 weeks so I'm sure there will be changes made to...More

Visited with my partner found the food undercooked, overpriced and small portions. Example starter. Small piece of garlic Ciabatta half of it cold with five prawns and a couple of strips of lettuce. £6.95. Very disappointing,, drive on by
