Last year, I was visiting Jesolo, Italy for the fist time ever. After, a month-long stay in warmer climate (India), I was in need of some major rest, relaxation, and warmth as Italy can become quite chilly during the winter months. When I was asked around for a good place to for a spa day, I wasn't told not about a "good" spa, but the "best" one in Jesolo--Via Giulia--and to book their three-hour soak/steam/sauna/rest. So I made an appointment that week. What I experienced there was divine. "Taking the waters" (an American phrase to describe bathing in healing water) helped ease the strain changing climates rapidly had done to my body, and I made three visits (this American takes her wellness seriously when traveling) before departing from Jesolo! The massage I received wasn't so good, but I enjoyed my manicure/pedicure, and sitting around the cozy fireplace in their little cafe. I also loved that the spa is set in a building that was probably a country home at one point in time; it made the experience feel more like I was visiting family. And this isn't just a spa. VG also hosts events like weddings, and receptions on their beautifully landscaped property. Have fun exploring Jesolo Storico (Historical Jesolo), and make sure to take a rest at Spa Villa Giulia before you leave. Saluti di California e grazie mille! <3 Brittany IG: @madame_clarke #madameclarkeworks4travel madameclarke1@gmail.com madameclarke.wordpress.com
