We walked from our hotel near the Ischia port area, taking just 45 mins (no 7 bus) to view this impressive Castle, a delightful walk up to the main entrance helps to bring in to focus the beauty of the structure, after payment a lift...More

If you like romantic ruined castles, this is a dream. More than a castle, as a whole town was built on this rocky islet, with churches, monasteries, streets, houses and gardens all crammed in. Amazing and has a view nobody could even begin to describe....More

You must visit this castle! Well worth it! Interesting with great views. Two cafes. We preferred the lower cafe. Service too slow at higher cafe. Love this castle. ❤️

The castle dominates Ischia Ponte, part of the island full of shops, restaurants, bars...you can enjoy wonderful views if you decide to grab a drink in this area. You can also visit the castle for entry fee of circa 10 euros.

What a pleasant surprise. It’s beautiful, quiet and well worth making time for. A carefully signed route takes around something like a Game of Thrones set or the civilised Riven computer game. The views over the town and Bay of Naples are stunning, plenty of...More

This place ones housed 1500 people during a vulcano erupetion on Ischia. Great historic place and definitely worth the 10 euro entrance.

The elevator is now perfectly working (doesn’t work for one day only). If the lack of the elevator could be a problem you can always ask the ticket office.

Sorry I'm just seeing this now! I think the entrance fee was about 10 euro, but I don't remember exactly. Definitely buy your ferry tickets online ahead of time, especially for the busy summer season!
