A lovely walk above and around the old city of Wissembourg with many benches to sit on and enjoy the beautiful views! We even had a picnic on the grass.

'Ramparts' not so great. Not much to see or walk on BUT still loved walking around outside of the town and visiting the churches.

The town of Wissembourg is beautiful and worth a visit. Take a walk around the ramparts and get a sense of what it was like to live in a village like this hundreds of years ago. Then wander the town and enjoy the ambiance.

A walk along the ramparts gives you a good view over the city. You could then see the beautiful roofs and the abbey at a distance. If you do not want to walk too much, start at the parking behind the abbey, by the river....More

This is pleasent and easy walk which takes 40 mins to an hour. There are many information boards which tell the story of the town in several languages, and lots of interesting buildings. You can divert into the old town centre and stop at one...More
