It was our daughter's choice to take a tour and make her own chocolate on her birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make it special by singing Happy Birthday and bringing her a sweet treat. We also learned a lot about growing and...More
Thoroughly entertaining experience thanks to the lively antics of our guide Ishmael. Making your own chocolate from bean to bar is fascinating. We visited at an unsettled time in Nicaragua, but this was a welcome and fun refuge.
I went to the museo a couple of times througout the couple of days while I was in Granada. Everytime I had drank the tea (made from the husk) because it was so delicious. I was sick with nausea, diarrhea and couldn't eat much while...More
Kenny wonka really turned what may have been a mediocre, quick, info-tour into a memorable surprise during our 3 days in Granada. He definitely knew what he was talking about! At first sight, the choco mansion seems like your run of the mill souvenir shop...More

Visited this museum as a part of a day excursion from Costa Rica with Native's Way. The tour guide was really entertaining and made the visit fun! It was nice to taste so many different chocolate things - candy, tea, liquor, etc.

That is a good question. I am not certain. Once we cleared immigration & customs it was about 9:30pm and there was an individual out on the curb coordinating loading onto the shuttle. Once you leave the secure area and exit the terminal the shuttle pickup is on the right. I had tried to email the hotel in advance to advise of my arrival but the emails never went through. This is a popular hotel for individuals arriving in MGA and I suspect late at night they know when international flights arrive and send a shuttle to meet flights.
