These gardens became the highlight of our stay here in Pyin Oo Lwin. We were awestruck by the Butterfly Museum housing over 1,000 specimens, beautifully displayed. No photos allowed. The bamboo forest, floral displays, aviary, lake and delightful restaurant all make for a memorable outing...More

The entry of USD 5 is on the steep side but the park is well kept and the flower arrangements are beautiful. Most disturbing was the garbage and litter lying everywhere; not only where there too few litter bins but it also requires education at...More

We spent the afternoon here and it was so beautiful. The entrance fee is $5 which may be a little steep for Myanmar, but it is clear that the money goes straight back into the gardens. It was simply beautiful! Great to spend a couple...More

You can go with car rental or bike from your hotel. I found a new place to visit in there... “Bamboo House” coffee shop is so beautiful and prices are so cheap. Remember to notice that Garden are closed in 6PM.

Very peaceful way to spend 2-3 hours, stroll leisurely through the park. Pretty flowers, large butterfly collection (not live). Meager orchids when we were there. Look carefully for nature's surprises (see the walking stick picture on the leaf!) nice place for a picnic. Not crowded,...More

Very pretty park and a nice place for a walk. I would recommend bringing some snacks and planning on spending a few hours, as opposed to just going through to have a look.

Unlike some of Myanmar attractions it is clear that the entrance fee goes right back into the gardens here. Really nice place to relax and read. Go see the butterfly exhibition - that was great. There's restaurants here and drinks vendors. It's clear that this...More
