Nothing to say about the falls there are impressive and one of the biggest one I’ve seen in Southeast Asia. What you really have to know it’s that you can and should go with the motorbike until the fall. The way is steep but if...More

I have been traveling in Myanmar since 1996. By bicycle, motorcycle, bus, train. I know the country and customs well and was very disturbed at our expirence at these falls. As tourism develops in Myanmar, well things are a changing. There is a bit of...More

A wonderful place but really a very steep climb for 45 min and about 600m height difference. One of our older team members in the end had to be carried. Be prepared!

Some tips; 1.- If you go by motorbike you can either park it where the 2 “restaurants” are or drive all the way directly to the waterfalls. The road is mostly paved, although steep and some tricky parts not paved. 2.- if you walk you...More

This was a lovely morning venture-the downhill (40 minutes) took longer than the uphill for us! Paved road, winding, good chance to see flowers, trees and nature. Powerful and impressive falls at the base- have a cup of tea or noodles and enjoy the surroundings....More

I liked the surrounding stalls more than the falls itself, as it was a good place to sample local wines and candies. I also enjoyed seeing the different "amusement facilities" surrounding the falls. As far as waterfalls goes it is however not spectacular.

There's a long and walk down to the falls (about 30 mins each way). If you take a taxi to the falls they won't drive down the road but you can take a motorbike if you've hired one. If you walk, don't take the suggested...More
