Kunjapuri Devi Temple is one of the most revered Shakti Peeths of Goddess Shakti in Garhwal Himalayas. This is an ancient temple located at about 1600 meters height. Beauty of this place is, you can see snow-clad white Himalayas and river Ganga (Ganges) from the same peak. One of the best point in Rishikesh. You have to leave by 4 from in u have stay in tapovan. It takes about 1hr 15 mins by car. You have climb steps which is kind of tiring (a little bit). But the view it offers...More

Take a car trip early morning to see sunrise from kunja puri. If the sky is clear one can usually see some snow capped mountains far in the distance.

Lovely temple, you need to walk 100-200 steps and then you get to a beautiful valley and mountain view. Mind the monkeys! they are there to steal you in a second :)

This is one of the Shaktipeeths and the drive is amazing may take upto an hour. Divine bliss wen you reach the top. Must visit.
