Just left the tasting room and have to say the beers were excellent! But the best part was Chris who guided us well through the experience. All the beers we tasted were excellent and Chris took the time with us the describe, explain, and educate!...More

Country fields growing hops and herbs paired with a country barn feel drinking area makes for a uniquely funky visit. The beers infused with herbs were my favorites. Husband loved the Golden Strong with 10% and bought a growler. Gave us a private tour of...More

A great little craft beer spot that loves to mix it up... they experiment plain and simple. Lemon Basil Wheat... or maybe Lager... they mix it up and keep a good amount of beer on tap. The food is simple and good... nothing complicated. Some...More

The Backroom Brewery was a nice find. Incorporating the Herb Farm with the Brewery was quite unique with some interesting beers. I enjoyed their basil beers and hot pepper beers, the IPAs not so much. It is a nice place with a big outdoor area...More

Farm brewery with strange but interesting set up. Easy to miss the small road sign, due to the main buidling looking like a residence. The inside bar is narrow and small. Their is a outside patio that is more expansive. Liked the Lemon Basil Wheat...More

Thank you for the 4 star review. We think our prices are pretty competitive ..$6 per glass. Others in our area charge $7 and Houlihan's, right around the corner, charges $8. As for our manequins, they are actually scarecrows. We have learned that our bears...More

Down a dirt road onto somebody's farm. Drove past some mannequins, one headless, with a potted plant in place of the head. Walked by probably half a dozen farm cats hanging out. A weird bar with government warnings printed on 8.5x11 sheets of paper pinned...More

We are a farm brewery. It's Ok if you didn't care for the farm setting. It's not Ok for you to criticize our wonderful chef, David, who is bravely battling throat cancer. Hence the bald head and loss of all of his teeth. He has chemo...More

We ordered the pulled pork with baked beans and cole slaw. I took along a gluten free English muffin which they toasted for me in a separate pan. My husband ordered samples of 4 different beers. We ate outside under a tree in the breeze....More

We found this because there was a brochure for it in our rental cabin in the mountains nearby. We did a "flight of 4" so we could sample several of their offerings with our lunch. We each got a sandwich. The food was good, the...More

We had gone to a number of wineries (and there are a bunch here in northern Virginia). We wanted to do something different, so our host headed to the Backroom Brewery. He had heard that it was a little different from other breweries. And he...More
