Really enjoyed seeing the old mill operation, augmented by the historical cabin and outbuildings, including the old lumber years. A good opportunity to talk about how difficult life was for our ancesters

I stop by the old mill everytime I'm close by. I enjoy walking the grounds and looking at how mountain life was almost 100 years ago.

Wonderful scenic historic mill, still, and blacksmith. Worth the stop with kids or with out. Be sure to come at the mill from the gift shop for the iconic picture view. Super great snapshots!

Looks like a picture postcard - absolutely beautiful. Restored old mill. Equipment & tools on display. Peaceful area. Good signage with history & description. Lovely stop. Must see on Blue Ridge Parkway.

Our family started visiting the Parkway in the fifties, and each year we go there, Mabry Mill gets more beautiful. Wonderful memories of family times gone by.

A wonderful stop along the Blueridge Parkway - an old multi-purpose mill and a wonderful series of flumes - and all the buildings to go with it! Pretty and very interesting.

Awesome step into the past to see how things were done back in the day. The Blacksmith is only open on certain days which we totally missed. However there was tons more things to see and experience from touring the mill to the replica of...More
