We stopped at Democracy during a long weekend to visit some wineries. We really enjoyed the wine, but the overall experience was a bit odd. The tasting room is interesting, with lots of political posters from all over the world. The wines are good, reasonably...More

For a small vineyard Democracy is excellent. They do not have a huge variety of wines but what they do have is very tasty. The location is very scenic and quite suitable for a wedding reception, party, etc. They occasionally have good local musicians. The...More

The owners of this vineyard love politics and love wine, and they have brought the two together in a very attractive and fun way. Political memorabilia mixes with interesting wines and information about both. We will definitely be back!!

Staff was very nice and informative. They had a young lady sitting in the corner playing music and singing. The wines were not to my wife's liking, so we did not purchase any. It is a nice place to stop and enjoy the scenery.

Tasting room is only a few years old, and their wines are pretty good. Interesting story on how they got into wine making. Worth the stop if you are in the area.

Visiting Democracy Vineyard was a great way to spend Memorial Day weekend! We really enjoyed their offerings and found their Petit Verdot to be tasty! We are excited to visit them again! Also, great value on many of their offerings.

We went to three wineries in the immediate area, and this way by far the best. They had the best wine, best service, and widest variety! The building is very neat as well!

The decor is superb. Historical campaign and democracy movement memorabilia. The wine... Delicious. Even the building is a bit quirky... Barn combined with Reception Lounge. And who puts a winery on a steep, winding mountain road? These folks do. Go. It's worth it.
