Attended a wine paring dinner at the tavern. 5 courses with wine pared for each course. The chef described each course and a wine rep described the wines. The venue is very nice, historic building, and the food was outstanding.

The folks at the Hanover Tavern were rock stars for our son’s wedding ceremony and reception. All of the food was amazing and everyone raved about it. The Carriage House venue was beautiful and the historic tavern so interesting and comfortable. Thumbs up!

If you are looking for a good crab cake with very little filler this is s good spot to try. I like their regular coffee here too although the decaffeinated is not that flavorful. Attentive waitress without being intrusive.

Lovely tavern. A glass of wine by the fire in the pub. Dinner (also by fireside) was exceptional. Great service, wonderful food, reasonably priced!

This restaurant was built in the 1700's, ad then it was added on to over the years. Patrick Henry lived there with his wife in the 1700's. We went there as a group from church so it was set up buffet style. They had barbecue...More
