Great wine, busy tasting room on st paddy’s day, but perfect quick stop as we were killing time before a wedding! I didn’t do the tasting, just went up and ordered a glass of Norton. They had a craft table for the kids, so I...More

This place totally rocks! The winery has been kept in the family for years and they truly love what they do and make the experience so fun! They let us hang around a little after they closed (many wineries this way close at 5pm) and...More

Had a really enjoyable visit - tasted 10 wines for $6, and ended up buying the Port (must try!), the Viognet, and the Concord Grape. Lots of unique wines to try - some dry wines, but mostly on the sweeter side and a lot of...More

A beautiful setting to taste any of their wines (40 available during our visit). Tasting prices are reasonable, $6 per flight of 10. The wines are fair to good with interesting attempts to blend fruit with their wines varietals. One of the original properties to...More

The tasting area could use some updating. There are only 2 bars for tasting so, you may have to wait for spots to open up. I was already familiar with Horton wines but, I had never been to the vineyard. The outside is very pretty...More

I love it when a winery has a vast array of wines to pick from and Horton sure fits that bill. The location is lovely with a majestic tasting room. The staff was very friendly and I was immediately taken care of by one of...More

Good wines. The staff was super friendly however they were all new and not super knowledgeable about the wines.

This was our third winery stop of the day, and it proved interesting in comparison. The atmosphere was very actual-winery-production-like, which served as an entertaining backdrop to the rather unusual assortment of tasting wines. All/most were good...in fact I bought a bottle of Brothers at...More

We went for a wine tasting and were able to sample 10 different kinds. Atmosphere was nice and friendly; not rushed at all and the wines were very good. Our wine server's name is Bob Downs and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Caitlin Horton...More

I loved this place! It has over 40 wines though the tasting is for 10 (which is still a lot). I loved the variety and the grounds driving up were amazing.

I do not think there are any wineries I did not enjoy! The best, so far, were Horton, Barboursville. The first wine tour we did was the Bedford wine trail (best to do a "wine trail" by regions, as Peter stated above... More
