I just love this park! I stayed in Cabin #1 in early April 2017. Cabins do not look like much outside, but they are gorgeous inside! Do not miss Tye River Overlook or the James River walk!

You would not be able to use the ATV in our park but there is national forest nearby so you may be able to there. You would need to check with them.

There are no designated swimming areas. But the state park authority has lots of programs. Like guided canoeing trips, wagon ride, fishing, archery. It's a beautiful park with lots of trails. Their 'Night Owl Hike' was... More
