Went in November 2018. Nicely led guided tour. Definitely felt like we got our money's worth. Not really meant for babies and very young children. It's a good bit of walking underground and there are no potty breaks down there and it's hard to bail...More

Nice unique Caverns, good trip for a rainy day. Decent sized caverns with some unique formations & I think Anthracite formations which are pretty rare they said. A lot of the formations are lit up with colored lights which was pretty cool. Worth the trip...More

Interesting facts found here. If you like to visit caves, put this on your list. They have some formations only seen here

Although the trees had not turned the views are still spectacular. The park rangers are helpful and the restrooms are clean. If you are a senior get the national parks pass and then entry is free .

Although this was interesting and educational, it is a bit creepy. I had never been to caverns before and this will probably be the last time The tour had about 8 people, which is a good amount, good guide. The shop is a trap for...More

We found this place from a brochure at a rest area on 81. We had been driving for hours and decided we needed a break. I’m glad we stopped there (wife’s decision). We checked out the gift shop while waiting for our tour to start....More

After driving along the Skyline the day before, we decided to ‘go underground ‘ and look at the caverns. We had a coupon from our hotel lobby to reduce the entrance fee to $20 each, which was still a bit steep in hindsight. When we...More

The billboards for Skyline Caverns say "See our anthodites." That might excite a geologist, but it didn't mean much to me, but I like caverns. When I saw them, I was amazed. "Anthodite" means "flower-like." They are rare and they are spectacular.

The caverns are beautiful. Its very cold inside, so take a jacket. The tour guide was knowledgeable. But we would probably not have gone if we knew it was a "tour". We would have preferred to walk alone. It was ok

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Skyline Caverns. I'd honestly never heard of it, but was pleasantly surprised. The cavern itself is well cared for, and I was happy to find that most of the "improvements" made for the sake of making navigation easier for...More

It is 55 degrees in the caverns all the time. When it is freezing cold outside, you will find it much warmer in the cave. When I visited the cavern, it was brutally cold outside. I took a... More
