Overview
More
We are comfortably nestled in Blue Ridge Mountains 1 mile outside of the village of Bluemont. From plow to pint, our focus is small batch hand crafted beer from fresh ingredients grown on our family farm, Great Country Farms. The Brewery is a natural " fermentation" extension to our 400 acre farm. The Zurschmeide family has been farming in Loudoun County for over 40 years. Our name, "Dirt Farm" pays homage to our farming heritage that spans three generations. We are grateful to work and play surrounded by our own family and many friends. We welcome you to bring yours & slow down a bit the Country. It is an exciting time in the Virginia Craft Beer Industry. We have only scratched the surface with farming and beer.

Agree with all other reviews about the beer, views and food. This place is a real gem but the food is limited. It’s not a pub. That won’t, however, stop me from going back again and again.

We recently went to Dirt Farm to enjoy a beautiful spring day. This place is absolutely beautiful, amazing views and good beer. Great time to enjoy with friends, plenty of seating, even fun to bring small kids along. The only negative thing, and to me...More

The beer was good! We even bought some to take home. This brewery had great views as well! Lots of games to keep kids entertained with soda and juice too!

Some nice selections of beer (a lot of choices on tap), in a toasty and warm new tasting room - with an excellent view back off of the hill. They have pizza from an oven and a fireplace out back for sitting around. Reasonable prices....More

The views are amazing, so make sure you pick a good time to sit and enjoy. We came in about 4:30during the week and it was peaceful and beautiful. The beer is good, I like IPA’s but all the choices are good. We had the...More

What a beautiful view from the top! Getting there almost ruined the shocks on my car. But was it worth it? Definitely. The Pumpkin beer was our favorite, the Irish Red not bad and the pretzel bites really tasty. This was probably best view I...More

We tried to get in the Brewery...the LONG driveway is an adventure! Especially with people coming down on that one way size mountain drive! So we get to the top and the parking attendant is waving us into the lot even though it is filled...More

Great place. Beautiful scenery. Food is casual like pretzel bites, and cheese nachos (good cheese) but the beer is good too. I'm not a beer drinker and still liked the tart cherry and my wife liked the pumkin. Now the adventure---the driveway is challenging. Quite...More
