For many years, my family has taken rides on the Carillon based out of Larrabee's Point in Shoreham, VT. Their website said that they were available from cruises Tues.- Sun. at 1 pm like always. When we got there we found out that this boat...More

Capt Paul Saenger died in October of 2014. He was content knowing that the Carillon would continue to sail on the South Lake due to it's pending purchase by Fort Ticonderoga. Having sailed with us, you know that this was our avocation, we didn't make...More

As part of our Fort Ticonderoga visit, we booked a Carillon Cruise. Very history filled and a fun boat ride. Lots of great views. If you book the Fort and the Cruise you get a discount. Fun, fun time - and it was my birthday!!

Relaxing, fun and very informative way to see this end of Lake Champlain - refresh your history knowledge (or learn it in the first place?) of the importance that Fort Ticonderoga played to our country in so many wars. Cruising past Fort Ticonderoga, getting very...More

Enjoyable, informative guide to the history of the area. Perhaps a little US biased ;) An ideal way to travel and understand the military and logistical importance of Lake Champlain.

Thanks for the review. Rene and I both remember fondly the kids fishing. Worms were in short supply that day or we may have been fishing much longer.

Thanks for the review. The private cruises are always special as everyone is primed for a good time before they even board the Carillon and we are proud that you selected us for your cruise.

This is seasonal, so you should check the schedule before hand. And it's good to call ahead and make reservations. The day we took the cruise, it was completely full. The boat is a replica of a 1920's 1000 island cruiser, right down to the...More

Thanks for the review. The day you cruised with us was certainly a full cruise. One never knows how many passengers show up on a given day. But we will take them out regardless if there are one or forty nine. After all it is...More
