Beautiful area. Requires some physical confidence to fully explore. But even just viewing the gorge from the road is rewarding.

A lot of people just stop at the bridge and look at the gorge from above. Hike down the gorge to the end of the cascade area and you can walk among the striated rocks (tricky footing) or even bathe in the water. It's a...More

We didn't expect this hidden gem on the way to the house we were renting. One can view it easily from the bridge or take the trail down and see it close up.

Myself, my husband and 11 year old girl went on 7/22/18. The view from the bridge is breathtaking, and the hike down to the bottom of the Gorge is easy. There are a couple great spots to swim there, the water was wonderful! We had...More

Driving through Quechee and we saw people looking over the bridge. We stopped and amazed at the view, it was amazing. Not much water at the time because of a bit of a drought but still beautiful. We saw the path and walked all the...More

Yes. I didn't see any indication that the trail closes. Park at the visitor's center and you can access the trail by walking behind the building. Definitely worth it!
