Beta of four local bridges

Interesting old covered bridge but you can't drive through. It is th longest and best ofthe four in the area. There is a small pull off so that you can have a look. Part of a short drive that takes in all four covered bridges...More

Another VT covered bridge

Hammond Bridge, built in 1842 by Asa Norse, closed to vehicular traffic. During the Flood of 1927, the bridge floated more than a mile down Otter Creek. It was undamaged, and was towed back to this site on a barge of empty barrels. Town lattice...More
