Beside admiring the views, there is a fine bicycle path along the downtown waterfront and winding through shady, low-traffic streets. I understand the path continues north to the CanAm border in Derby Line, about 6 miles.

Lake Memphremagog is the alleged home of Memphre, one of the American "Nessies". I did not see one on our boat cruise, but I did see a large wake in the water in the late afternoon. It must have been the Memphre.

if you're in northern Vermont and it's a clear day (sunshine probably helps) then you ought to go see this lake. There are beautiful views from higher elevations not far from the lake. Also possible to take a tour boat on the lake.

My husband's favorite lake for fishing. I like boat riding or kayaking. Beautiful City and Mountain views!

Bass and perch. Some sunfish. I can not catch anything. Last fish I caught was 50 years ago. I need hand grenades to catch fish.
