You call at the small shop and information centre to pay the toll for the car and passengers to go up. It's then a careful drive up to the top of the mountain along roads which include hairpin bends. As you'd expect, the views from...More

This is a great place to get out and explore the trails on the Equinox mountain. There are trails for all levels of hikers, some with very little incline, some a lot steeper. Maps are available and the trails are well marked. If snow or...More

The Equinox is the best spot for leaf peeping. It is a beautiful trail and the views of the hills covered in foliage are outstanding.

Very pleasant place for hiking. We did not go for a long one, but did see that it would be easy to get lost. Trail markings were confusing.

The trails are great and offer every level of hiking ability. Pick the trail you want for the time you have and the level of difficulty you want to bite off. We had two hours and mapped our route. What we didn't know was that...More

There are many trails to choose from in this Preservation just outside beautiful Manchester, depending on how much time you have and how energetic you feel. We just did the short lake walk, which took about an hour, but it was beautiful. Some really nice...More

The Equinox Preservation Trust is a hidden jewel. The trails are very enjoyable but with fall foliage should be a wonder. While not easy to find it is well worth the effort. We parked at the Red Gate. From there is a collection of trails...More

Plenty of bike trails all around here. Try Rte. 30 heading North towards Dorset and bear left on Dorset West Road. A nice pretty level Nike ride of about 6 miles to Dorset Village!

No it is not permitted to swim or canoe on Equinox Pond but you can ask the Concierge at the Equinox Hotel where you could do this nearby!
