You have to go out of your way to find this bridge but so worth it. This is the longest bridge in Vermont. With all the bridges in Vermont to see, this one was very cool to drive over and take pictures of. You can...More

We stopped here in our way to Brattleboro and decided to look around. Wow! This place is stunning! We ended up spending over an our walking down by the creek, skipping rocks, and splashing around. If you are in the area you must go!

While driving around the Brattleboro area back roads, we came across the West Dummerston covered bridge. It's beautiful, long, and wide enough that we were able to drive our Dodge Ram 3500 dually across. The people, young and old, swimming in the water looked like...More

Only thing that might make it better is fall colors. 6yr old grandson had fun playing in water beneath bridge, slow, shallow water. Great photo background

You cannot stop and view one of Vermont's most scenic attractions and not feel compelled to kiss the love of your life. The memory will last forever. Alas, my last visit was alone with just a memory to relive.

Nice stop driving through the Vermont countryside. Plenty of parking for taking pictures or exploring the area. The nice part of this covered bridge is that you drive over it.

Very nice covered bridge. There is a parking area and a walkway down to the river. The locals hang out and swim under the bridge.

We parked at the bridge and walked down to the river. Shallow spots to just walk around if you don't want to get very wet, but deeper spots also if you want to cool off! Plenty of space to spread out if it gets crowded....More

Great Place to Swim, Explore, and Photograph. Parking lot on site leads to set of steps that takes traveler to the West River under the bridge.
