On beautiful Vermont Route 30, we were in awe of how this older structure has stood functioning while other concrete bridges are already in disrepair. Gorgeous to walk and drive through with plenty of parking spaces to the side. Walk down the steps towards the...More

We stopped here in our way to Brattleboro and decided to look around. Wow! This place is stunning! We ended up spending over an our walking down by the creek, skipping rocks, and splashing around. If you are in the area you must go!

While driving around the Brattleboro area back roads, we came across the West Dummerston covered bridge. It's beautiful, long, and wide enough that we were able to drive our Dodge Ram 3500 dually across. The people, young and old, swimming in the water looked like...More

Only thing that might make it better is fall colors. 6yr old grandson had fun playing in water beneath bridge, slow, shallow water. Great photo background
