The Fleming Museum at the University of Vermont has exhibits that are worth the time and effort. They have exhibits on Vermont, as well as an Asian collection. However, there is a new spectacular exhibit on the Sacred Arts of the Black Atlantic which just...More

The Fleming Museum is quite small by large city standards but its content is well worth a visit. The special exhibitions are probably its biggest strength - check to what is on before you visit. Parking can be a bit of a problem - the...More

There wasn't that much in this museum; however, there was a very interesting temporary exhibit of incredibly unusual photos from India. We didn't inquire, but we assume the temporary exhibits are as big and equally interesting. The permanent exhibit is decent for such a small...More

There was such a wonderful variety of exhibits throughout the museum -- far more than many museums of that size. There was one statue of "Penelope that was beautiful and I would love to know more about its history -- where it was found and...More

Would love to review this fine museum but it is closed when school is not in Summer session. We read the reviews on line, reviewed hours of operation, nothing about closed in Summer. Hope to visit another time.

Liked seeing Vermont artist Weyde painting of Mount Mansfield. Special exhibit of pop artists enjoyable. Neo-colonial building is interesting. For parking, park in adjacent visitor lot. You will need to go inside museum for pass. Go to restaurant nearby in hospital - great value.

If you approach the museum from the west it will be on the right. There is a parking lot on the right just before you get to the museum. Don't park in that one. If you make the mistake of turning down that road it's... More
