I had no idea of the history of this place. We visited all 4 memorials and walked to the two main ones. Sad, very sad the story of women and children and men and boys killed for no reason.

This was very interesting. What a sad piece of history for Utah and the Mormon faith. It’s good that this is not swept under the rug. Gives you a real sense of how dangerous it was for those who headed West with their families.

Unexpected insight into problems the early settlers had to bear, not only from Native Americans but earlier settlers (Mormons) trying to waylay and kill them.

This is a memorial for some difficult history, and the details are hard to read without emotion. I guess that is a good thing, it proves I'm human. Great teaching opportunities as we discussed with our children.

We visited all three memorials and site with the names of those killed. It was very well done and enticed me to find out more about the massacre. We will learn from history.

My experiences with this memorial is very sad. I couldn't believe a so called peace loving people could do that to another.

Nice to see that the State and the LDS church has not buried this part of history. Very nice memorial
