This site is a 'must see' when in the area - but I agree with others, in that you should be familiar with the history before attending the site, to recognize the spiritual importance of the grounds you are visiting. Both my spouse and I...More

We visited all three memorials and site with the names of those killed. It was very well done and enticed me to find out more about the massacre. We will learn from history.

Our daughter took us out to this site today and to say it was sad is an understatement. Over 120 men women and children killed for no real reason but fear. Assumptions made by people who really had no clue why they were taking these...More

Very sad but interesting place to go. A lot of people died there years ago. There is a small hike to take. But well worth it.

I have been out to this memorial area (and past to Pinevalley) many times, in Spring, Summer, or Winter (a little dicey on those roads), and it never fails to amaze me. First, it's up in the high desert with junipers, tall grass, and pinetrees....More
