In the late weekday afternoon after 5 PM, we parked car free in the DMV parking lot. We started right at one end of the Street- the Union Station. Three Union Station Museums are closed after business hours. While standing in front of the Union Station, you may see both sides of the historic 25th street situated well-preserved buildings with a mountain view. We then walked down the Street. Dozens of life size fiberglass horses designed and painted by the local artist are displayed along the Street. Enjoying strolling down the Historic 25th Street.

25th Street is the most historic and accessible part of Ogden. we enjoyed strolling down the street, through the central city park, and along some of the nearby avenues, which had not nearly as much character. We were surprised by the number of apparently homeless on the streets in the area but they kept to themselves. Plenty of restaurants - not that many interesting shops though.

Fun area to explore while visiting Ogden. Lots of restaurants in the area as well as a few shops! Many had limited hours and seem to be open mostly Thursday - Sunday. Also a number of the restaurants don’t open until the evening hours. It was still fun to explore and there are informational signs along the street and on some of the buildings explaining the history of this street. Also, right down the street from here is the Utah train museum and other small museums.

It was a nice walk from Union Station down to the County Building and back to look at the historic buildings and read the information plaques along the way.

It seems to mostly be made up up bars and restaurants, with just a few businesses mixed in. If you want to look inside Union Station you need to arrive before late afternoon or It will be closed.

I walked around this area in the evening while I was in Ogden for work, and really enjoyed admiring all of the historic buildings and shops. The Union Station museum is right at one end, and there's plenty to see and explore, especially if you take a leisurely pace. Ogden's trying to preserve the historicity of the area, so many of the buildings are over a hundred years old.

lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Social Axe a block off is so much fun. Down side was there were lots of transient begging for money and loitering/sleeping/defecating on street between 1:30-3:30pm. City needs to work to clean up area. We opted not to go back out at night due to this.

Might be fun in the evenings/ski season - but nothing to do during the day otherwise. Drove up from SLC to maybe find some cute shops or something and was pretty disappointed. Walked the Main Street for about a half an hour and besides tattoo shops and restaurants that didn’t open until later, that was kinda it. Not trying to be mean… just wasn’t worth the drive. Kinda thought it would be like Pearl St in Boulder or a funky street in Austin or something … not so much.

I stayed at the Courtyard on 24th St. So the 25th St was just out the back door of the hotel and across a parking lot. Fun atmosphere, lots of restaurants and bars. On Saturdays, during the summer, they have a Crafts / Farmer’s Market. That is a lot of fun and interesting. The buildings are from Ogden’s (infamous) past, and that is played up to the hilt. But in a fun way. If you are in the area, a definite place to check out for a fun afternoon.

We walked around after a few hours of skiing at Powder Mountain. Cute Main Street with a few interesting shops and restaurants. Glad we made the trek in. Visit Tona restaurant if you love sushi. Not to be missed.

We found this a marvelous place to kill time when we visited. At one end is Union Station with its museums, and all down the street are places to eat or interesting shops. Very pedestrian friendly, and has a slower calm to it than other tourist areas.
