SPI Activities offers great transportation options for South Padre Island Visitors! We specialize in Golf Cart Rentals! We have a 20+ golf cart fleet! All our golf carts are Yamaha! They have blinkers, headlights, LED rooftop lights, and horns! Golf Carts are allowed on all roads on South Padre Island. We also rent Bicycles! We are open daily and ready to assist you in making your visit to South Padre Island the best you’ve ever had! Come cruise South Padre Island with us!

No golf carts are allowed on the beach. Why rent one?
It was very hot.
People were very nice.
The room was nice, but it was a long walk to the beach in hot sand.
The water was fairly clear but waves were fast and kinda rough. Not large but rough.
No surfers seen.
Wind surfers did well.

We had so much fun! great addition to our trip. so glad we rented the golf cart to tour the island. We even went through the McDonald's drive through for a coke! Felt like teenagers again, wind in our hair touring the main streets, waving at all we saw. Watched the sunset to end a great fun day.

We had an absolute blast riding around on the golf cart!!! It’s so convenient to zip in and out of attractions and shops on the boulevard ! We rented for 24 hrs and did so many things on the island

I will not recommend them to anyone. The golf cart was old and very ruff, Also there are a lot of places that rent golf carts that are much newer and lot less expensive. For instance one place was renting them for $80.00 a day (8 hours) much nicer carts!!!!!!!!!

My family and I rented bikes to ride on the island. The website made it seem like there would be kid-sized bikes available, but there were not. When I tried explaining this to the front desk, they were very rude about it and did not help us at all. Would not recommend renting from this business.

Please check to see that the pick up location is close to where you are staying. Also do not book here it is so much higher than what you will see on the Island. I saw $80 all day on the island versus the $134 they charged me.

Rented a 4-seat golf cart from SPI Activities and it was incredible! Pearla assisted us with the high end golf cart rental and it was a breeze - She is the sweetest!
Very comfortable ride and no issues at all. This is the best golf cart rental company on the island. Do your family a favor and book all your activity needs with them!

The staff at Ocean Motion, the rental location of the golf cart, were kind, friendly, and professional. However, the cart itself still had trash in it from whomever used it previously (empty capri sun pouches, water bottle, random paper, etc.) and the floors and seats were full of sand. Clearly not cleaned between rentals. Also, did not contain a full tank of gas. If we had rented it for longer we would have needed to go to a gas station. And part of the roof was held on with zip ties. So while altogether it was a fun experience to drive the kids around town in a golf cart, the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle could have been better, especially for the price. I will spend more time comparing prices and checking vehicles next time.
