This was the highlight of our visit. Birthday celebration for my 38 year old son. Relaxing, watching the sun set with fun music playing. We did the sunset cruise for 1 1/2 hours then have dinner at one of the nice restaurants walking distance from the dock. Just a 30 minute drive from Dallas. Well worth it.

We had the most amazing time celebrating Mother’s Day. I booked the one hour open boat ride on the Sapphire. The boat was extremely spacious and comfortable. The captain was friendly (and patient as I was running a couple of minutes behind). The breeze was just right. We took our own food & sparkling bubbly on the boat, but they offered complimentary soft drinks. My mother and aunts (age 60+) truly enjoyed themselves. The next day they were still talking about how much fun they had on the boat. We’re already talking about planning our next ride!
Note: Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to park and walk to the dock! Bring great energy and vibes and be prepared to relax and enjoy the ride!

Perfect evening on DFW Harbor Lights cruise... the ambience, complimentary drink, birthday shout out and the music really set the mood. Even during these difficult times with (covid) I felt safe and all precautions were in place. Definitely will sail again!!!

The cruise was good. The only problem that I had is that the captain was offering refreshments to everyone and just came over and asked if we were celebrating something special. I said no and he walked off offering more refreshments to other guests. I had to ask him if we could get a couple of cokes.

Melvae, I am very sorry I did not offer you a refreshment when I stopped by to say hello and ask if you are celebrating anything. My crew needed my attention and I was remiss in proactively asking if you would like something to drink. The complimentary refreshments (soda, juice, water) are always available at the main deck's refreshment bar. Please accept my sincere apologies. Captain Michael M.

Was asked to help captain the ship, but did not know about the awesome music upstairs until I picked up the musician and guests. I know the guest had to have had a great time because the music was awesome. That along with the beautiful sunset...what an evening ride.

Overall great cruise, but wish they would spray the bathroom for mosquitoes. Luckily it didn’t take away from the atmosphere.

Thank you for pointing out the bathroom bug issue. They appear to be some kind of fly that looks like a mosquito but do not bite, still no fun to have aboard. These little buggers try to sneak aboard when guests leave the rear sliding glass door open and we are working on a solution and hopefully avoid having to use bug spray all the time. Thanks again and hope to have you aboard again soon! Sincerely, Captain Michael

The boat lacked seating. The table behind us managed to book a group of 15+ including babies and tried to have some sort of family gathering/birthday. If a large group is booked they should have a separate designated area to the group or have a different timeslot for that heavy of a party. I couldn't hear any of my children because of this large party. Very disappointed as we specifically booked this timeslot for a nice quality QUIET evening spent with our family.

Rachel. You are right there was a party with two reserved tables on the main deck. There were several completely empty large 8 person tables on the upper deck. While as you could see while aboard, there is no private area aboard Harbor Lights. The boat has 70 seats on the main deck and 80 on the upper deck, however we only allowed 73 aboard for that evening dinner cruise. It is unfortunate you did not approach us so we could accommodate you on the upper deck especially with the beautiful sunset that evening. Please always contact the crew. We are there for you. If you had made us aware we could have helped you. Captain Michael

Each cruise listed on our calendar shows the number of seats available. Most cruises begin filling up 2-3 days prior the actual cruise. Our dinner cruises will fill up sometimes the week before.

The important check-in info says you need to bring CC used for payment and valid ID. I am currently awaiting my new ID in the mail. Can I board with just booking confirmation and the CC used for purchase?

Hi Hope - we are wheelchair accessible, however power wheelchairs are often too large and heavy for the flooring of the boat - we'd be happy to see what we can do to accommodate if you'd like to email me at CaptJoyM at gmail. We'd love to help make it work!
