This is a very pretty park with picnic and fishing areas and gorgeous views of the Rio Grande. Mexico is only a Stoney's throw away and there is a Reynosa, Mexico park on the opposite side of the river. The park is a staging area...More

Nice park but very close to Mexico if you have any concerns. We did not at the time, and we felt comfortable and relaxed.

Park is wonderful. Plenty of open space for playing with children and teens. Clean and well maintained. Quiet, calm, and definitely not crowded. When you look North across the river you are looking into Mexico. What a juxtaposition! Enjoy the peacefulness and beauty!

Located along the Rio Grande River, this is a very nice County Park, great for birdwatching, walking, bike riding, and kayaking.

people are scared to go and bbq or have a picnic. My husband and I buy pizza, sodas and chips and head out there in the spring and summer time. There are lots of State Trooper vehicles and Border Patrol, but its because they ride...More
