This place is stunning, a really lovely place to be. As other reviewers have said, it can get extremely hot during the day (we were there in August). I walked around it at sunrise, when the sand is a fantastic cool temperature to walk on....More

Be prepared to be amazed, it's just like being in the Sahara Desert, and it does get very hot, so bring plenty of liquid refreshment. There are camel rides available.

Had my husband read these reviews we would have been fine! We decided to explore the same dunes, which looked amazing. We found a route near to where the camel rides take place. We were ok for a bit and then tried to descend a...More

If you are in Gran Canaria you must see it. Quite a long walk from the Hotel Riu ( about 1 km) but it is definitely worth it. You will never forget this in your life.

Vast region full of sandy dunes, during the day can be too hot to go there, especially the sand gets very hot. Far more enjoyable when we went in the evening. Picturesque views!

The dunes were a big surprise but amazing sight to see the desert like sand leading to the beach. Unfortunately the beach seems to attract nudists, but a short walk further down to Playa del Ingles is family friendly.

This place is like paradise. So beautiful. A totally worth visit. Have you good camera ready. The sands against the sea and the sky is stunning.

Stunning!!! Well worth a visit. Had been told it was a nudist beach but no more toplessness than the beach.

We went as a family of 5. The camels are well looked after. If you're 110kg or over they wont let you ride. It was lovely riding through the dunes. We didn't book but didn't have to wait that long to have our turn.

hi Playa del Ingles became quite large, but if you start from the Jumbo Center it is about 15 minutes walking distance . The entrance to the Dunes is at Hotel Riu.

Hay dos parking de pago. Pero son caros. Pero por la zona del Auditorio de Meloneras puedes aparcar aunque sea un poco incomodo. Y hay una especie de parking de tierra frente al hotel Boabab.
