Have been to a few crossing points or memorial sites and this is by far the best. Excellent preserved stretch of wall, with different models of the wall from the different phases of its creation. Cheap and effective museum which one could make decent sense...More

Our visit to the Deutsch-Deutsches museum today was our last sightseeing trip that included Dachau Concentration Camp and 2 days in Nuremberg. As a non German speaker all other visits had to be done with an audio guide which took away from the enjoyment and...More

I wouldn't go way out of your way to come here, but it was certainly worth an hour of our time. It does a good job of setting the scene to show visitors what the time under East Germany was like. I would have appreciated...More

Cannot praise this place highly enough. 3€ entry seems too little to visit an entire village and its museum. The whole village is an exhibit with sections of wall / fence / no mans land / watch towers dotted around like other villages have statues....More

On a relatively small piece premise, the visitor is provided with a thorough insight of German history which goes under the skin. A piece of the wall, a watchtower, stoppages and traps as well as barbed wire are on exhibit in the open, creating an...More
