The church is instantly recognizable as the one painted and immortalized by Van Gough. Although not a huge church, it is really pretty. The whole town has plaques detailing the life and works of van Gough, which I loved.

The church was one of Van Gogh’s famous paintings during his stay at Auvers sur-Oise. Small church but beautiful and still well maintained. The church can be reach as soon as we arrive at the city.

As always, so lovely, so full of history & always touches my soul when I enter & someone is playing the organ. I can see why Van Gogh painted this structure.

This church is best known because of the Van Gogh painting. We passed it several times before venturing inside. It's well worth the visit. It's a little Gothic gem that goes back to the 11th century.

This massive church, nicely situated up a hill from village center, is open to the public. I was surprised how massive and gray it was in comparison to Van Gogh's brilliantly colored painting of it. The only relief from the drab grayness inside was some...More

This church is not as outstanding as other churches in France, but it is worth visiting as part of the visit to Auvers-sur-Oise. Outside, one can see a sign (part of the tourist information) that shows van Gogh's painting of the church. It's amazing to...More

You can see from the replica of the painting done by Vincent Van Gogh displayed just outside the church that it hasn't changed much. The church is small and beautiful and a must see.

This church features in a painting by Van Gogh. The painting gives some clues as to the state of Van Gogh's mind at the time.

Take a quick look inside if you wish, but the main attraction is across the road from this church on your way up to the graveyard where the brothers are buried.

A lovely, melancholy, calm corner of France, very near to Paris, where Van Gogh spent the last 70 days of his life. He painted, among other corner, this lovely church. In itself it is not a great piece of art, but still nice to visit....More

Hi. You can get there by train. Station right in the middle of the town. The machines in Paris will sell you a ticket directly to Auvers su Oise, but there is a change over.
