The cave may only be small, but it beat the others hands down for just how interesting it is without any of the 'Disney' effects. The reliefs are amazing and the guide was passionate about them and the cave as a whole. Very good value...More

Very interesting guided tour. Tours available in English and in french which is helpful. They're ingravings, not paintings, but at least they are originals and not copies. It's nice to see an authentic place, not a money making industry. I recommend it.

We went to visit this cave during the Easter holidays as a family. We were the only people there so got a private tour, in English, which I really enjoyed. The children were a little bored but that is too be expected for a historic...More

We visited this cave while we waiting to visit another, much more impressive cave (the Grotte de Rouffignac). I am glad we saw this more modest cave first, because on its own it is already worth the visit, but it also served as a stepping...More

This grotto is small compared to the more famous ones in the Perigord. However the guide's explanation in French and English was fascinating. The visit takes just over 30 minutes and should be a "must" in the area.

We arrived at 11am to find ourselves the only car in the car park on a very hot sunny day, thus we parked in the only shade available. We chose to walk up the steps as these were in the shade, there was the option...More

We were the only visitors on this rather damp morning but the lady guide was very informative and showed us all the etchings and artefacts. Quite uneven flooring and not brightly lit so you had to watch were you were walking.

Group of 13 of us staying near Le Bugue wanted to see a grotte but didn't really want to travel too far (we had a pool to get back to). We were lucky that the next tour started about 10 mins after we arrived. The...More
