Besides being a World Birding Site, Quinta Mazatlan is a city-owned facility with an interesting history (tours available), extensive grounds, and many bronze wildlife sculptures. Well worth a visit. Inexpensive entrance and tour fee; free coffee!

Very nice place, and interesting. You can learn alot here. Or take a quite walk around and sit and just watch the birds. We have been 3/4 times over the 4 years. Great for families

We went for birding and saw 14 species, including the major locals (kiskadee, green jay, golden-fronted woodpecker, clay-colored thrush) and a rare blue bunting. Great views at the many feeding stations, along with beautiful outdoor sculpture and visitor center.
