Interesting museum about Darwin, nice displays. Nice cafe and ground to walk in. I went with my son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. They even had toys for children to play with. Great place to visit!

Had a lovely couple of hours at Down House. Really interesting, plus very helpful, friendly staff and always good for coeliacs to know there were two choices of gf cakes in the café. Thank you team - much appreciated and delicious!

The staff are all friendly and enjoy you asking questions. The greenhouse, fascinating plants ... The experiments intriguing especially how the worms work in the soil.. Darwin's thoughts on religion is the apex (misunderstood by many) .

Lots of parking, but the road up from town is narrow and trees hang. Can easily park in town and walk the quarter mile, but no sidewalk for most of the trip.
