Walk into a Cabelas/Bass Pro Shop anywhere and you are greeted and asked if you need help or directions to an area I need. This place is right on the lake split level building.

This is the place to find everything you need for youre next adventure, won't come at a cheap price, sometimes they have great deals, keep looking a around you alway find something new.
This store has a restaurant with a deck thats in front of the lake. They serve mostly seafood and kids menu. But they also have fried alligator.
The bar its huge and it have a enormous aquarium in the back

The Halloween event wasn't one ofc their best but Christmas is always WONDERFUL! I love that they do a craft and one free picture! This year wad a cute set up with the peanuts crew.

I called the store shopping for a rifle. The sales person said that they did not have them in stock, but if I came to the store that the person in charge of the vault could order it for me. I drove 75 miles one way from Weatherford Texas. I stood in the 6 ft. spaced Covid -19 line for about 20 minuets. When it was my turn, a man walked passed the line and approached the counter. The young man, Will, behind the counter started to assist the man. Will had been looking at the line, but did not inform the man that he should wait in line like the others. The rest of the people in line began to grumble, so I spoke up and informed Will that he had let the man cut the line. I told will what I wanted. He sent me to stand in another line at the same counter. I was told to get on the store computer and look the item up myself. Another 20 minuets later I was told that they could not help me. I drove back to Weatherford empty handed. Never shall I darken the doors of Bass Pro Shop again. Stay away from these big box retail stores...waste of time.

Thanks for giving me a reason not to cross the lake due to your insane liberal policies! You'd much rather defend 1 mentally ill employee at the cost of losing your customer base! Good luck with future sales.....the internet is a @$tch when it comes to bad news traveling!!!!!

I got there for my pictures with Santa with my family. The lady attending us was so rude and rushed us over to Santa. She took a picture and didn’t even say “1,2,3” or “ready” and then yells at my son your not looking, so My son says you didn’t tell us to be ready. Then another son tried to ask where he was suppose to look for the picture and she rudely ignored him. Therefore the picture I received my daughter wasn’t looking at the camera. The lady helping her was just as rude as the photographer lady. I tried to ask her a question and she ignored me and just gave me my picture and said go up stairs and pay and come back. I was upset at the moment with the whole experience, so I went upstairs and paid and left! The experience wasn’t fun or jolly!

Another of Garland's pluses. Bass Pro is a great outdoor retail outlet and it's huge. Don't know if it's rarely crowded or just so big you don't notice the crowds. Just about anything you need for fishing, hunting, skiing, boating, cooking outdoors, knick knacks, ammo. You name it. Two story freshwater aquarium w some lunkers in it. Well staffed and eager to help. Right on the lake and have year round activities for the kids, Christmas, Easter... down under is Islamorada. Good seafood, good bar, salt water aquarium behind the bar, outside seating, patio seating. Come on out and shop eat and sit for awhile.

Cannot go wrong at Bass Pro for fishing gear.... Went for specific $25 item left store with $150 worth of stuff I need.
I came to my senses in the parking lot, went back in and spent $50 on stuff for my wife😂😁
So I went home happy and wife was HAPPY.

This Bass Pro was amazing! 2 stories that were completely covered with some of the most beautiful/unique wildlife displays and mounts I've ever seen including a waterfall that goes down into a HUGE fish tank and "pond" area. They also had shooting games for the kids and a little catch and release fishing area for the kids! The view out back though was absolutely beautiful plus a little "beach" area to walk around! Had a restaurant and bar too!

I always enjoy my visits to the Bas Pros'. They have a pretty neat display of taxidermied animals throughout the building, but the entrance is also very impressive. They have Albino Deer which is rather unique. They have a good selection of good quality clothes for all purposes, as well as an extensive collection of fishing and hunting gear. They also have a very good restaurant, but don't wait too late on Sunday to go, cause they close at 6 or 7 on Sunday depending on the season. They are open on Saturday till 9 pm. Have fun with your visit.
