Our driver took over the prescribed route. You can see the architectural significance for yourself. The driver had what seemed to be a "canned' pitch. But when I asked questions, he didn't seem to be that knowledgable of the history behind the buildings or other...More

Chris, our driver, was prompt with the van for pickup and has a easy way of story-telling about the various points of interest around Galveston. Better than trying to do it yourself and a good value for the hour plus tour.

The advertised “electric shuttle” turned out to be a van, from which you can only see outside the window next to you. If the “historic sight” is on the other side of the van, forget it. Although there is “live narration,” the driver goes so...More

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, the city shut down the electric shuttle. Every thing is updated i.e. website, social media, etc. New rack cards have been ordered but not yet arrived. Never be afraid to ask the driver to slow down. I tell people...More

We went to the tour start location at Ashton Villa Visitor Centre, and were informed that the tour wasn't running because of staffing issues. We then called the tour number, and were informed that there would only be one tour per day. We booked our...More

Sorry for our misunderstanding. I didn't have to give up the electric cart "years ago" but just a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the city shut it down saying that it was not street legal and unsafe for tours. Trust me. I wasn't happy with their...More
