Golf Digest Ranks Pine Dunes as one of the top courses in Texas. I'm not sure why. The course is very nice and quite challenging, but it is not memorable. Golf Digest puts way too much emphasis on the pro shop, the staff and the...More

Don't judge a book by its cover. Frankston , TX might not sound like a golf mecca, but this place is a gem of a course. Be ready to hit it straight, though. Fairways are pretty tight and don't allow much wiggle room off the...More

18 beautiful golf holes set among the tall pine trees. Peaceful and charming. Small golf shop and restaurant but who cares. Enjoy the beauty and quiet among the trees.

Great food and service at the club house. Food came put timely and delicious. They even heard me say I like coke zero cherry and found me one! First class place. Can't wait to play some golf.

A bit off the beaten path, but a very nice change of pace. Sandy waste areas give you a different look and a new kind of challenge. They have a grill and pro shop as well as cabins to stay in. Good size practice area....More

Pine Dunes frequently gets high ratings on lists of places to play in Texas, and, as we found, deservedly so. Very well laid out course, tough but fair, no "throw-away" holes but all are fair, and a real challenge for golfers of any handicap level....More
