If you are in the area and interested in architecture this is an interesting building to see. Some say it was built upside down and it was featured in the movie Logan's Run.

Not much to see here: an unusual architectural specimen from I.M. Pei; rather sterile. Apparently featured in the "Robocop" film. Worth a walk-by if you are otherwise touring downtown.

A short walk south from downtown, the nice open park area in front of this large, unique building is has sculptures, reflecting pool and some absolutely great views of the Dallas skyline. A special treat early morning or on weekends without all the people and...More

Cool IM Pei building!!! Not wildly functional on the interior but it's filled with city employees, that for the most part, try really hard to be good stewards of our city's resources. The best times at city hall are when they activate the open areas,...More

If you are a fan of the original Robocop film starring Peter Weller then this is a must stop for photos. The building may be too futuristic/unattractive for some, but it's an interesting design by the very famous I. M. Pei. The grounds, fountain, trees...More

Had to walk past this building 5 times a week for 10 years and not once did I say wow how impressive. It's a cement building on cement, just ugly. If there is a parade the sidewalk will be blocked for days so be prepared...More

Even though I didn't go inside the building, I was attracted to it from an architectural standpoint. I briefly walked around the plaza out front which had a reflecting pool with fountain and a couple red floating sculptures in it. I quickly left the area...More

Even if you could find a parking space and even if you could get into the building what would you do? Filled with a lot of bureaucrats that would more than likely wish they were somewhere else and there is absolutely nothing a tourist would...More

This is an interesting building in downtown Dallas to see. We didn't do anything except walk past it, but I really like the big pond in front and the architecture is unique.

Parking is expensive, and it's pretty much what you'd expect from a City Hall. Long lines and lots of waiting.
