Beautiful Lake views with nice bike and walking paths
Oct 2021
Quaint lake with greenspace in the Dallas area. Near the botanical gardens. Nice biking and walking trails. Look for the white pelicans and the waterfall over the spillway.

Beautiful and Serene
Aug 2021
Wonderful place to relax, unwind, and take in nature, Southwestern style!! My wife and I always look for such areas to enjoy when traveling, and White Rock Lake did not disappoint. Lot's to do, but we just took in the air and the sights.

Best View in Dallas!
Aug 2021
This area is gorgeous. If you like to bike or run, this is the perfect place with biker/runner paths. If you just want to have a picnic, or kayak on a beautiful lake, while looking at the city skyline in the background, this is also your place. Very nice!

Best chill spot in DFW. Free date, mental church, whatever...
Sep 2020 • Family
One of my favorite places to relax, unwind, exercise, fish. In the middle of the city but you couldnt tell. My number 1 spot in DFW to go, hands down. If I have to deal with the populus, I would rather it be here! Great place to picnic, propose, great place to be!

White Rock Lake Trails
Mar 2021
This 9.4 mile trail is located along the beautiful shoreline of White Rock Lake. You can bike, run, walk, or skate on this paved pathway. There are also several gravel paths along the trail if you prefer a lower impact on your walk or run. In addition, there are water fountain stations provided throughout for you and your pup as well as picnic tables and park benches. We have used this course in training for races and I love the fact that you don't have to worry about constant oncoming traffic.

Ten Mile Loop Trail
May 2021
Did the 9.5-10 mile long loop trail around the lake. There are plenty of port-a-potties along the way (some horrific quality and others super clean).

We ended up spending almost four hours doing this loop because there are so many scenic points and places to just sit on a bench, facing the lake and enjoying nature.

Love the Lake!
Apr 2021
White Roxk Lake Park (which is larger than Central Park in NYC) is the gem of Dallas. Walking, running, biking, picnicking, bird watching, fishing White Rock has it all. The 10+ mile path around the lake has numerous places to stop and park. Lots of port o potties and water fountains throughout the park. Picnic areas with grills are all over. It is our favorite place to go on the weekend all year round.

Breath of fresh air in the city
Jan 2021
Dallas is really lucky to have this beautiful lake and area accessible to all. The trail around the lake is great for walking and biking with connections to other good trails. The use of the lake for kayaking, sailing, fishing and rowing gives you plenty to do or watch other doing. The views of the upscale housing along the sides is fascinating. The downside is that it is almost always very busy and the walkers and cyclists vie for the same space, not always very politely.

Very peaceful & pleasant
Nov 2020
An absolutely great place to go on a nature walk, bird watch and relax. This park is huge! They have very nice pathways around the lake where people can walk, bike or run. We really enjoyed the docks at the Pelican Point where we were able to watch wonderfully diverse waterfowl. On a nice day it is a perfect place for a stroll.
