We were looking for some fall foliage within 4 hours of ft worth. This did the trick! Beautiful! Cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at a state park. Nice campsites! Treat animals for ticks before bringing them.

Great park! This beautiful park has a lot to do if you’re looking to get away from the busy life. Hiking trails, fishing, canoeing paddle boating and kayaking, lake swimming, volleyball, and hoops. This park has camping and cabins.

Such a beautiful spot to spend the evening! Just watching the sailboats and viewing DC is very nice. Lots of tables and a nice resturant on site.
