The view atop the hill has a almost 210 view to the North and South Coast. Fingal Head Spit/Causeway in just around the corner under the GeoMarker hill.

White Sandy beach. Breathtaking views. Great surf beach. Beautiful to walk along the sand as it squeaks under your feet. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Beautiful views from all directions. Lovely walk down to beach & to Fingal Head Lighthouse. Needs to be sign posted better though.

I was staying at Coolangatta when I decided to explore across the border in New South Wales starting with Fingal Head. An absolutely beautiful beach and views. Well worth a look

Fingal was fairly typical of all beaches along the coast with long stretches of white sand however this was protected from the southerly winds.

The walk to the lighthouse would require a good level of fitness as it is all sand. Once you reach the lighthouse, there is quite a slope. So depending on the fitness of the person, I would have to say that it would not be... More
