Mayon Skydrive ATV Adventure is an Department of Tourism accredited ATV Tour Operator in Albay, Philippines where world's perfect cone-shape volcano is located. The ATV tour destination is right at the foot of the volcano where guests can explore and appreciate how majestic Mayon Volcano is. Our company operates 2 years already and currently has 69 operation ATVs, 1 buggy, and 1 4x4 off-road jeep. Guests can choose from our 8 trail packages that they would prefer. Safety and enjoyment of the guests are our priority. With that, ATVs are well maintained and the tour guides are well trained and are accredited by Department of Tourism.

It was our first experience of ATV activity,
and it was perfect.
Highly recommend this company.
Guide was very kind and attentive,made a lot of photos and videos during our trips.
Machines were in good condition
After first trip we couldn’t stop and tried another ride next day)

At first I'm afraid to try, i don't drive any vehicle. But thanks to the staffs for great accommodation and to the guide for the right motivation during practice. My experience when we are dispatched for our ride in an exclusive trail, was fun and awesome. I feel proud that I conquered my fears, passing thru man-made muddy canal, river, rocky and forest trails. The units we are new and well maintained. the service is great.

We had a lovely morning on our ATVs today....the views of the volcano are just spectacular and Howard, our guide, was an excellent instructor and photographer!
It was oir first time on the quads and we found them so simple to operate! The price was good and all the equipment was in perfect working order, in fact the whole set up was very professional whilst still being very friendly...we would highly recommend this company..Thanks again :-)

We've heard about Mayon Skydrive ATV tour from a colleague, so when the opportunity for us to travel to Bicol presented itself we grabbed it and this was one of the activities on top of our list!
They are located just before you reach the entrance of the Cagsawa ruins, you can book them in advance via their Facebook page or call them up or go directly to the office. There a lot of companies which offer ATV tours around Mayon but Mayon Skydrive is the only one which has trails exclusive for their use. We would recommend the Green Lava trail which would take you and your group 7Km from Cagsawa ruins passing thru their exclusive trails - man-made canal, small rivers, up and down rocky paths, etc which ends at Mayon's volcanic lava flow from years past which is now covered by grass thus the name - Green Lava. Once you reach your destination, its time again to marvel at Mayon's beauty. Time to take those selfies, groufies, jump shots, etc.
The trail is safe even for our adventurous senior citizen tito and tita :-)
Before you begin the activity, they will present a short video on the different trails that they offer and also a safety video briefing on what to do and not to at the trails. They also have a practice area for you to get accustomed to the ATV bikes before hitting the trails.
Green lava trail cost P1500 per person, try to haggle for discounts. You have the option to ride solo or 2 in a bike but you still have to pay the full price per head. For safety reasons they don't allow small kids.
We were a group of 5 and had 2 guides with us, one acting as guide while the other one takes your pictures/videos using your camera/action cam/phone :-)
The whole tour took more than 2 hours, so plan ahead in case you have some other place to visit. And prepare to get wet from the river crossing or in case it rains. They sell plastic raincoats in case it does (just remind your guides to being some).
We would definitely do this again on our next visit! Maybe the Black lava trail.

We are a group of 11 well-traveled individuals. I've tried atv in Boracay twice but nothing compares on what we experienced in Mt. Mayon. There are rough, stony roads and my favourite is crossing the waters that made it the coolest & extreme adventure of my life. Not exaggerating but you should try, to see Mayon in the background & some "pine trees" there. Wear your coolest shoes, mine was a decade old "Duralite" white rubber shoes because your feet will be wet when crossing the river.

It was indeed an exciting experience. It was my first time to try an ATV. It was all worth it. The guides are very kind and has lot of patience especially when we got stalled once in a while. You must definitely try this when you go to see Mayon Volcano.

This is the coolest activity you should have when you visit Mayon Volcano. We have the best time of our lives in this experience. Its easy to drive and you'll feel safe. Ofcourse you will also have the best view of Mayon. Just be early :)

Arriving at Kagsawa turn off you will see many people by the side if the road offering discount prices. We first read of another company which had a number of TA reviews noting bad ATVs breaking down and no pho e to call back to their office. Actually you will find a heap of small stalls offering
ATV but really glad we decided on SkyDrive. From the turn off keep driving straightforward past the bridge and just before the turn you will find them on the left in a parking lot.
Firstly you register your name then you watch a shirt video on the possible short or long routes they offer. They offer more routes than other companies and prices increase as the longer trail you choose. There is a map there showing the courses although to be honest they look small compared to the actual time you spend driving .
Next you watch a safety video with instructions .
To note the 4 of us had never ridden an ATV or motorbike before. We chose the green trail which was 1 500 piso and another 100 environmental fee for going up to the bottom of the volcano base where you stop and can buy coconut for 25 piso.
The introduction and video they show you is professional with good explanations.
I have travelled throughout the philippines extensively and found this one of the best tourist operators.
There are in fact registered by DOT - Department of Tourism.
For a group of 4 people you have one guide and parties of 5 and over you have 2 guides driving with you. Taking pictures and carrying anything you like To take such as bottles of water which you can buy at the office of MayonSkyDrive.
Their office has toilet facilities , free purified drinking water and all under cctv including your car.
Just 25m away they have their own practise area for a explanation in simple terms .
The ATV are automatic so it's just throttle with right thumb and brakes when needed.
After 10 mins practise we were given some dust masks for later and off we went.
Awesome is the only words to explain.
After 1 hour we reached the half way point to stop n look up at mayon and look down over legazpi.
Awesome sights with our guide giving great explanations and taking pictures and videos all along the way.
Next was coming back and most of the way you are on the brakes and only then you realise how far you climbed.
Crossing more rivers , rice fields, water ways and a few climbs we were back .
Two points to note.
The carpark is 20 piso.
The atv can handle all sizes no worries, I'm close to 2 m tall and over 130 kg and no need for a bigger bike than what they provide.
Please remember to leave something for your guide cause they give great information and ensured all the way we were focused on safety first .
Again great to see a professional company in the philippines doing business the right way and not cutting corners.
Highly highly recommended and can't wait to go on a longer trip next time.

Booked the Skydrive atv through klook and we got the 2018 mayon lava trail which is 3-4 hours. Couldn’t see mount mayon due to the weather and our guide Nicko asked if we wanted to extend the trail to the green lava trail with abit of top up which we readily agreed.
Overall, enjoyed the experience thoroughly! There was a small practice area before we start, and the guide is specific to just our group, always turning back and checking on us throughout the 4 hours, taking pictures and photos of us. Would highly recommend this!
PS: while on the way there in a cab, our cab driver insists on bringing us to another atv and even drove us there. Cabs in Legazpi are very expensive, cost us about 800php for a 30 min ride to the atv, when we came back, we took a trike which just cost us 300php.

I would like to book this for me and my partner, our flight gets to the airport at 2:20 pm and apparently it takes 13 minutes to get to here, would we still be able to make the 14:30 slot?
