The 2010 Applause Award winner, Dollywood is recognized as one of the world’s best theme parks. Spanning 150 acres and located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood offers more than 40 rides and attractions, including the Thunderhead wooden coaster, the steel thriller Mystery Mine and Wild Eagle, the first wing coaster in the U.S. Dollywood’s entertainment is recognized worldwide, having received more trophies, 20, than any other theme park for its live entertainment which showcases country, bluegrass, Southern gospel, classic rock ‘n’ roll and Appalachian music. Daily demonstrations by more than a dozen master craftsmen offer a glimpse into the authentic artistry of the area’s rich heritage. Guests visiting the Great Smoky Mountains can stay just a stone’s throw away from Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country at Dollywood Cabins. Accommodations range from quaint spaces just for two to sprawling floor plans that sleep up to 30 people. Guests are treated to sweeping mountain views while some cabins actually overlook Dolllywood’s popular Craftsman’s Valley area. Cabin guests receive exclusives such as free reserved parking at Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country and complimentary admission to Dollywood’s Splash Country.

This was my first ever trip to Dollywood and I wasn't sure what to expect but whatever expectations I did have were blown away! I'm used to going to major theme parks, like Disney or Universal, so I knew Dollywood was going to be very...More

Dollywood is a fabulous park. It isn’t rude heavy, but there are a lot of things to do. I would say this park is best suited for couples and couples with young children. Teens may find it lacking the “thrill”. Overall, it was a great...More

The only negative thing that I can say about Dolly wood is that it's very tiring. This was my 3rd time at Dolly wood and it's gotten better than ever. They have new attractions while still keeping the same ones. While really stand out however;...More

Disappointed. Parking $10.00, entrance for 2 $157.00 for a day. I have heard of Dollywood for years and was very disappointed. I am 61 years old. Younger people with teenagers might enjoy but I didn’t.

I enjoy Dolly as much as the next person, but this place is lame. If you like roller coasters it’s cool, if you are expecting crafts and seeing things made, you will be disappointed, go to Silver Dollar City instead. The admission price is unreal...More

My wife and I enjoyed the shows and the wildlife exhibits with the eagle and also writing on the locomotive. I would suggest sitting towards the back of the train so you don't get any soot on you from the smokestack. Food was good and...More

Yes! It's called Doggywood. The have kennel runs ($25 per day) and cottages ($35 per day). It's near where you get your tickets but you need to reserve in advance. Google Doggywood for info.
