About
As the home of country music, Downtown Nashville is a place of significant musical history. Here, you can visit one of the city’s famous honky tonks and dance late into the night, or eat at its wide selection of restaurants and street food joints. There are a bunch of cool boutique hotels, so don't worry about those late-night journeys back from the bar. Learn more about the area's history at museums like the Tennessee State Museum and the Country Music Hall of Fame, or join a bus or walking tour to see the city's main sights through the steps of famous stars. – Tripadvisor

Downtown Nadhvikke offers something for everyone. Great tests and entertainment venues. History is alive here. The river offers opportunities. You can stroll for hours and enjoy the uni city. Stop and enjoy the music culture. Great food!

    Fun spring break
We stayed downtown at the Renaissance. Its really safe to walk around. Definitely enjoy bar hopping and listening to all the various bands. We liked wild horse saloon for its space, stage, free line dancing lessons. Roberts western world is a little packed but has some great bands. Tootsie has three levels of awesome bands, the rooftop was our favorite. Lucky bastard is very touristy but does awesome drinks and has a variety of music. All these places have food but not the best. Head to a restaurant like black rabbit or assembly hall to eat. There is music everywhere! Go during the day if you have kids with you to listen to awesome talent.

What a great place for live music
Broadway Street is alive all day long. I came during the day. It was packed in the day, and at night, it was even busier. I preferred the night vibe because of the city lights and traditional buildings—many different bars and restaurants. My favourite was the rooftop terraces.

    Party atmosphere
Downtown Nashville is actually Lower Broadway, or the Honky Tonk Highway. It has a wild party atmosphere on the weekends with lots of out-of-town revelers, including bachelorette parties. The clubs on the strip offer live music and have no cover charge. But it can be hard to find a seat during the prime time hours. The bands are largely cover bands playing hit tunes. If you’re looking for future stars you are better off going to Printer’s Alley, I’m told. That’s just a couple blocks away.

    What a Place!
We were in town for a week and came downtown 3 times and enjoyed our visit each time. This place was very busy both day and night with lots of music, food, and drinks. So many bars and so much to see. Great people watching too! We visited on a Friday night and they even close down the street to traffic in order to accommodate the crowd. Lots of security around as well. A must do at least once in Nashville!

Loved it and had to return
We went twice! First time we drove so we couldn’t really drink. Parking on 4th street was $30 for the 5 hrs we were there. Second time we took a Lyft. We were able to stay later and enjoy the area much more. Tons of rooftop bars. We chose the less crowded ones. They were just as good. So much to see.

    Friends forever
Fabulous B and B in a trending neighborhood that has a courtyard for late night revelry, wonderful meals. We found music and divine bourbon at the Belle Mead distillery, bought art at Hatch prints, visited the famous bookstore and had a blast. Did not appreciate the walk by the river as it was overgrown and not managed well.

    Wonderful staff
Clean, nice staff, it's out of the area I would call downtown, across the street from the stadium but they have good shuttle service. Otherwise you need to Uber back. 15 minute walk to the strip.

    Great live music
It is a nice experience to walk up and down Broadway street and listen to all the live bands at the bars and restaurants. No cover charges. Drinks are slightly pricey, but you are getting entertainment. Bands are all day which is great for those who want daytime or earlier evening experience. Bands all switch at 10 pm from early shift to late shift so keep in mind nothing is playing from10pm for about 45 minutes. Cheapest parking is at Library parking garage which maxes out at $20/day.

    Vegas with a Twang
LOTS of fun! I duped this area Vegas with a twang. Bars and novelty shops galore. Bars actually take out a front window so you can see and hear the live band. The street was busy (October) but we expected that. Don't forget to walk on the side streets. These bars are less busy but still very fun. A safe area to walk. We noticed the street does not come alive until after 5pm. It got busier as the night went on. We were there from 4:30pm to 10:30pm. There are also resturants but we did not eat in this area. Expect to pay $25-$70 for parking. We were 3 blocks off and paid $30.

We from Louisiana and I finally see why everyone is going to Nashville instead of New Orleans. Felt safe the whole time and there was always police seen. The bathrooms in most bars was so clean. The drinks was always good. It is crowded and drinks are a little pricey but well worth it.

Broadway is admittedly not my scene. Lots of loud bars and crowds of people and lots of traffic. None of the places are that memorable. Amazing how many drunk bachelorette or girl birthday parties were going on - so many loud and obnoxious women all over. If you like the strip or Bourbon Street you’ll like it here. It’s just way too much for me.

Dirty, parking is terrible and way to expensive for all the trouble. Broadway is just a group of drunk people that look lost.

Fly Away Parking
Nana, a retired elderly school teacher, was left in the freezing night air, at Nashville airport, after a long day of travel, and her prepaid ride from Fly Away Parking did not show up and would not answer numerous phone calls for help. Ticket: #848935

If you want to party late into the night, this is the place. If you don’t, well this is not the place. Here’s a tip, the music continues during the daytime. If you don’t want to fight the roaming bachelor and bachelorette parties for space on the crowded sidewalks, you can still get the same flavor (food, alcohol, music) at 2 pm.

Important facts - I am over 60 and I love live music.
Our first night downtown Nashville - I nearly froze from all the sensory stimulation.
Our second and third nights were much more enjoyable.
Love the bars and great music - music everywhere.
Too bad so much of the drinks and food is served in plastic.
Make sure you do an evening walk across the walking bridge.
